For 5 years, POI has been at the forefront of Irish cancer research, working hard to develop the next generation of diagnostic and therapeutic options and improve the lives of cancer patients not only in Ireland but worldwide.
Recently, we have worked with award-winning science journalist Claire O'Connell to document some of the key areas of impact of the POI programme.
These range from training the next generation of precision oncology researchers, generating cutting-edge analytic techniques, improving national research infrastructure and developing biotherapeutic spin-out companies.
